We have been here twice and left full and elated both times. The oxtail broth elevated the pho to the best in the area, and the bahn mi on the heated bun which melts the pork pâté, my god, perfection.

Wife always asked to come here. Everyone we pass by we always had other plans. So decided to come today. Not what I expected at all.
Walked in
-floor was dirty just by looking around the restaurant.
Was seated to our table.
-I had trash on the floor of the table(used chopsticks / wrappers)
-table was wet, menus were stuck to the table because it was wet.
2 Smoothes took more than 20 minutes to arrive. They did not have avocado so we had to order something else
Wife did not like that food was taking way longer than usual viet restaurants. And said she will no longer come back. Was going to mix some chilli oil but was low-empty.
Other than that food was 8/10 -

When I visit Vietnamese restaurant, my usual eats are pho or other traditional noodle soups. But after tasting banh mi in Toronto, I started looking around the area.
As I was looking through Instagram, I came across this restaurant. In the past, I have visited once.
Walking into this Vietnamese Bistro, you get a different feel than other Vietnamese restaurant. Probably because it's spacious as well as cleaner. Scanning around the room, you see less Asians compared to other Vietnamese places I have been to.
Looking through the menu and finding the banh mi section, we picked the popular item as well as a new item. We ordered then the waitress said 'let's it?' as in that's all your ordering?
After the waitress said that, I remembered why I only visited this place once when it just opened. The employees attitudes are judgy towards customers.
As for the banh mi, the grilled pork sandwich, it wasn't bad. But the marination of the pork was wayy too sweet. But their house special banh mi was much tastier. -

My dad is a chef and used to frequent this place often for lunch. I visited this place recently on a Sunday around 2PM and it was packed with Vietnamese people so that's another really good sign that this place is worth going to.
The place is super clean and definitely perfect for date nights.
Loved everything about the pho and rice dishes here. For the pho, the broth was clear and flavorful and the bean sprouts showed no signs of wilting or bruising. Of course the meat choices were delicious. -

No, not good- over priced but nice waiter. The waiter was the only redeeming quality about this place. We order Bun Bo Hue and it was full of spices so that wouldn't pay attention to the lack of meat and noodles! Then the Hieu Tieu Dac Biet was a joke- nothing special and three pieces of meat that smaller than my thumb?! We also order egg rolls that was veggie and it cost $9?! WtHeck?! Never again!
